- Brake discs, brake hoses, or brake pads are worn or otherwise defective. There are also deficiencies in braking performance
- Faulty axle mountings and pivot points are found in over half of the cars
- Front axle pivot points often have excessive play. Many faults are also found in the car’s suspension or shock absorbers
- Faults that alone do not cause inspection failure are typically lighting defects.
- For example, low beam, license plate light, or parking light not working. It’s worth checking the condition of the windshield, lights, and windshield wipers before inspection.
