Ajovarma has introduced a strong Suomi.fi identification in its online appointment booking. The change applies to the driver examination and licensing services produced by Ajovarma for Traficom.

One must identify themselves in Ajovarma’s electronic appointment booking service via the Suomi.fi service before booking an appointment. In telephone appointment booking, all customers booking an appointment are also identified. An appointment for another person can only be booked through authorization, verbal authorization during the call, or by an identified guardian.

The purpose of the identification is to ensure identity and prevent misuse. According to the Data Protection Act (1050/2018), the data controller must ensure that customers can be reliably identified.
