A-Katsastus Group's change negotiations concluded

The change negotiations concerning A-Katsastus Group ended on June 15th 2026.

Background to the negotiations: Ajovarma operates as Traficom’s service provider for driver examination and permit services, based on regional agreements with Traficom. The agreements expire on 31 December 2026. Traficom tendered these services in early 2026, and Ajovarma won only the driving test services in region 1 (Helsinki and Espoo). In all other regions, a new operator will take over both examination and permit services from 1 January 2027. The negotiations concerned the A-Katsastus Group companies’ plan for reorganising operations and personnel-related adjustment measures.

As a result of the negotiations, the company will implement adjustment measures related to the reorganisation of operations due to production-related and financial reasons. The measures affect personnel and will result in the termination of a maximum of 330 employments.
