Ajovarma provides driving examinations in Espoo and Helsinki from 1.1.2027

Changes will be made to Ajovarma’s network of driving examination and permit services from the beginning of 2027. From 1 January 2027, Ajovarma will provide driving test services in two locations: Espoo and Helsinki.

Despite these changes, A-Katsastus will continue its operations, and its stations will keep serving customers across Finland, including vehicle inspection and registration matters, condition inspections and car accessories.

Ajovarma will still accept licence applications and driver’s examinations at its service points during the rest of 2026, as it has until now. However, we recommend checking the station’s up-to-date service and opening hours on the website before your visit. To ensure smooth service, please book an appointment at the service point in advance.
