A service specially designed for at-risk groups

A-Katsastus’ vehicle pick-up inspection is a service where the inspector and the customer do not meet. The vehicle is collected for inspection and returned outside the customer’s home.

How does pick-up and drop-off work?

1. A pickup service person calls the customer through the phone number provided by the client after arriving at the location
2. Keys are requested to be delivered to the agreed on location in a plastic bag
3. When returning a vehicle, you will receive a call to the same phone number
4. We clean the door handles, steering wheel, gearshift and keys of the vehicles that undergo a vehicle pick-up inspection before handing them over.
5. The keys will be delivered to the agreed on location in a plastic bag

How do I book a vehicle pick-up inspection?

Leave a call request via national appointment booking, tel. 075 323 2222 (Mon–Fri from 7.30 am to 8 pm, Sat from 9 am to 4 pm). The vehicle inspection station will call you back. During the telephone conversation, you will be asked the following information and for your agreement on the following:

• Vehicle registration number
• Instructions on how to you can pay for the service online or by invoice
• Phone number where you can be reached
• Possible email address
• Location of vehicle keys for pick-up and returning the vehicle

After the vehicle inspection

The inspection certificate will be left on the front seat of your vehicle with any additional information. You will receive an invoice for the inspection and pick-up by e-mail or, if you wish, by mail.

Price

The cost of the vehicle pick-up inspection is €50 (max. 20 km/direction) plus station-specific vehicle inspection + statutory emissions measuring fee.
